ANSWER: Yes, this website receives a weekly update with the latest news.
QUESTION: Why aren’t there any prices on your website?
ANSWER: In order to meet your individual requirements we offer a wide range of different vehicle variants. We endeavour to quote you a fire engine that suits your needs, so we offer vehicles with a lot of different equipment options and therefore the prices vary, depending on the requested range of activity.
QUESTION: Why don't some of the listed vehicles include pictures or example pictures only?
ANSWER: Some of the listed vehicles are still under construction or in restoration progress. For this reason we can’t exhibit any suitable pictures yet.
QUESTION: Why do I have to create an account to receive a quote and why are my complete details required?
ANSWER: Your account is free of charge and will enable you to use some special features, such as administrating your personal car park. It also enables you to send us requests for selected vehicles of your car park. Once you have created your free account, you don’t have to retype your details for future requests. You will find your personal vehicle selection ready and available for any future visits. For good reasons we can’t send information to anonymous people. We therefore kindly ask you to fill in the application form correctly. Your personal details will be used for internal purposes only and will not be given to anyone else.
QUESTION: Do I have to pay to receive a quote?
ANSWER: No, you don’t. Our quotes are free of charge and without obligation.
QUESTION: Which services are included with the price?
ANSWER: Our prices include the complete technical and optical reconditioning of the vehicles. They do not include shipping charges or VAT. Variations in the low-price range are possible.
QUESTION: How long are the quotes valid?
ANSWER: They are valid until prior sale, which could be practically at any time. On request we offer reservations for a certain period of time, depending on the type of vehicle. Reservations will be discussed with each customer individually.
QUESTION: How long is the delivery period?
ANSWER: The delivery period for second-hand fire engines is 4 weeks up to 3 months, depending on the required amount of work. For newly constructed vehicles the delivery period comes to approx. 4 - 8 months.
QUESTION: Do you offer leasing?
ANSWER: Yes, we offer leasing and municipal hire-purchase via our house leasing bank.
QUESTION: Where and when can I inspect the vehicles?
ANSWER: The vehicles can be inspected at our premises in Herbolzheim. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 12:00am on request. Visit us to get an impression of wide product range and the high quality of our vehicles. We look forward to welcoming you!
QUESTION: Do I have to make an appointment for a visit?
ANSWER: To prevent delays or long waiting periods and to provide you the best possible service we kindly ask you to make an appointment with our office team at least 2 days before a scheduled visit.
QUESTION: Can you provide accommodation?
ANSWER: For our guests from farther regions and from abroad we can offer accommodation in different price ranges at one of the local hotels. On request we book a reservation for you.
QUESTION: Is a journey by train possible?
ANSWER: Yes, there is a railway connection to Herbolzheim directly. Our team will be happy to pick you up at the train station.
QUESTION: Why don’t you sell fire engines to private individuals?
ANSWER: Our target groups are national and international municipal fire brigades, industrial fire services as well as aid organisations and paramedics. Selling reconditioned fire engines to private individuals doesn’t make much sense, above all because private individuals haven’t got a permission to operate special vehicles.
